The burgeoning question of the threat Iran presents globally is becoming more and more obvious. And yet there is a huge contingent of pundits and politicians that fear the reprisals that Iran itself has proclaimed will happen if any nation interferes with Iranian aims and goals. In light of the Iranian threats in their cause of national defense, Iran also saber rattles against Israel and America. President Ahmadinejad makes it no secret that Israel should be wiped off the map and the Jewish state will “soon” be annihilated. The logical conclusion that follows these war pronouncements against Israel is the implied threat against Israel’s chief ally – America.

Iran openly supports terrorism in the Palestine-Arab enclave. Iran openly stirs strife among Shi’ites in Iraq to disrupt a democracy experiment backed up by America. And now it is known that Shi’ite Iran has put its differences with Sunni Al-Qaeda to ally against American interests.

I have said it before concerning Iran, if Iran is not dealt with now the price down the road will be huge compared to any price paid out of fear of the present threat Iran poses. Pay the price now, while it is cheaper rather than later with WMD threatening American Interests.
